| Android 5.0 Lollipop for Lava Iris X1 Grand |
Lava is rolling Android 5.0 Lillopop update for Lava Iris X1 Grand smartphones. The phone was launched in the month of January and the company had promised lollipop update. The OTA for Iris X1 Grand is 514.71 MB. You can go to Menu > Settings > About Phone > System Updates and check for update, which will download it automatically. Lava asks users to back up their data before updating. It also advises them to factory reset the phone in order to restore some default system files.
Lava Iris X1 Grand features a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor with Mali-400 GPU and 1GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 8GB and can be expanded via microSD. It sports a 8MP rear camera with dual LED Flash and a 2MP front facing camera. It packs 2200 mAh battery.
