Lava is rolling Android 5.0 Lillopop update for Lava Iris X1 Grand smartphones. The phone was launched in the month of January and the company had promised lollipop update. The OTA for Iris X1 Grand is 514.71 MB. You can go to Menu > Settings > About Phone > System Updates and check for update, which will download it automatically. Lava asks users to back up their data before updating. It also advises them to factory reset the phone in order to restore some default system files.

Lava Iris X1 Grand features a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor with Mali-400 GPU and 1GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 8GB and can be expanded via microSD. It sports a 8MP rear camera with dual LED Flash and a 2MP front facing camera. It packs 2200 mAh battery.

Lava Iris Fuel 25 and Fuel 10 Launched with 3000 mAh Batteries

Lava launched Lava Iris Fuel 25 and Lava Iris Fuel 10 with massive battery capacity. Both the devices packs 3000 mAh battery. Lava Iris Fuel 10 is priced at Rs. 6,541 and Iris Fuel 25 are priced at Rs. 5,666. Both these smartphones would be available though retail outlets and e-commerce portals in India. These come with 500 MB of free 3G data from Airtel per month for two months till 30th June 2015.
