Xiaomi launched Redmi 2 in the Indian market at Rs. 6,999. It is available in pink, yellow, green, grey and white colors. It will be available from March 24th through a flash sale on Flipkart, registrations will begin today at 6PM.
Xiaomi Redmi 2 features a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916 ) 64-bit processor with Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 8GB and can be expanded via microSD up to 32GB. It sports a 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 2MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with MIUI v6 on top and has 2200 mAh battery.
