All Lumia Windows Phone 8 to get Windows 10 upgrade, says Microsoft

If you are a Windows Phone 8 user then Microsoft has confirmed that all Lumia Windows phone 8 will be getting Windows 10 upgrade. The official Twitter account responded to a comment and tweeted "There will be Windows 10 upgrades for all Lumia Windows Phone 8 devices :) And we will release new Windows 10 models in the future!".

It too says about the release of new Windows 10 models in coming days. So, we can expect some new models from Microsoft soon.

Sony Xperia Z4 Specs Leaked

With the release of Xperia Z3 flagship phone from Sony just back in September, Sony is busy preparing for its next flagship phone Xperia Z4 for 2015. Earlier in February Sony had released Xperia Z2 too.

Xperia Z4 is said to come with a 5.5-inch touchscreen with QHD (2,560x1,440) resolution, 20.7-megapixel camera  IMX220 as the ones in its predecessors with new curved rear camera sensor. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC 64 bit, with a 2.8 GHz octa-core CPU (having four Cortex-A57 cores and four Cortex-A53 ones), 4GB of RAM, 32GB as the minimum storage variant and an Adreno 430 GPU.

The first Xperia smartphone to come with LTE Cat.6 (up to 300 Mbps download speeds) connectivity and Bluetooth 4.1. One exciting changes in the design of the Xperia Z4 is the added amplifier to boost the sound quality.

Panasonic launches Eluga S Selfie-Focused Smartphone with 5MP Front Camera at Rs 11,190

Panasonic added a new device to it Eluga series with selfie tag. The smartphone is priced at Rs 11,190 and it will be available from the third week of November. It has introduced a new feature in Eluga S, a "Blink Pay" feature which automatically initiates a three-second countdown for capturing selfies from the front 5-megapixel front camera when the user blinks.

Instagram update lets us edit captions

Instagram has rolled up an update for IOS and Android users. For IOS the new update is version 6.2 and it is available today in Apple’s App Store, and for Android the new update is version 6.10, it is available today on Google Play. Instagram has announced bundle of updates and improvements designed to help discover more on Instagram.

The new update brings a change in the EXPLORE BADGE icon which is now changed to a magnifying glass icon. The explore page shows two tabs now - Photos and People. There is not much change in the photo tab, it contains the same scrolling grid of photos and videos. The new People tab highlights interesting accounts for you to discover.

In addition to these update you can now edit captions for images after you post them. I can across this yesterday when I was posting a photo, I accidentally miss typed www..twitter.com/tech_erina and posted it. When I came across this  typo, I had to delete the photo and re-posted again changing the error. Now the new update allows you to edit your captions.

Microsoft launches Lumia 535

Microsoft launched the first Windows Phone smartphone under its own branding and named it Microsoft Lumia 535. Microsoft Lumia will be available in single SIM and dual-SIM.

It also offers 15GB of free OneDrive cloud storage.

Motorola Rolling Out Android 5.0 “Lollipop” soak test to Moto X (2nd Generation)

Motorola is known for pushing fast software updates to their smartphones. At the point when Google announced Kitkat, Motorola released the update for their supported devices  just days after the new software was released for Nexus and Google Play Edition phones and tablets. Now Motorola is rolling out Android 5.0 update to soak test members who own the Moto X (2nd-Gen) smartphone. Motorola has become the first Android manufacturer to being the roll-out of Lollipop for its portfolio. Does this say Moto X is getting Android 5.0 Lollipop update before Nexus 5?
