Asus ZenFone 5 Lite Launched in India at Rs. 8,999

After launching Asus ZenFone 5 Lite in the Philippines last month, Asus has launched ZenFone lite on Indian online store, Flipkart at Rs. 8,999. The Asus Zenfone 5 Lite is only available in Flipkart in Deep Black color.

Asus Zenfone 5 Lite A501CG features a 5-inch qHD (960 x 540) pixels IPS display screen, it is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with 1GB of RAM and 2500 mAh battery. It has an internal memory of 8GB and can be expanded via microSD card. The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Asus made Zen User Interface. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera.

Dell Launches New Venue 7 and Venue 8 Voice-Calling Android Tablets in India

Dell India has launched two Android tablets Venue 7 and Venue 8. The new tablets are equipped with voice calling feature as well as 3G.

The Dell Venue 7 features a 7-inch IPS display with WXGA (1280x800 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a dual-core Intel Atom Z3460 clocked at 1.6GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM. It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera, and 1-megapixel front-facing camera. It has an internal storage of 16GB and can be expanded using microSD slot upto 64GB.

The Dell Venue 8 features a 8-inch IPS display with WXGA (1920x1200 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a dual-core Intel Atom Z3480 clocked at 2.1GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM. It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera, and 1-megapixel front-facing camera. It has an internal storage of 16GB and can be expanded using microSD slot upto 64GB.

Asus has launched a new variant of its popular Zenfone 5 smartphone. Dubbed as Asus Zenfone 5 Lite, in Philippines with the price tag of Php 5,595 (which is around  Rs. 7,600 INR). The phone will be available for purchase in Philippines from next week.

Gionee launches CTRL V6L and Pioneer P5L Smartphones in India

Gionee has unveiled two new 4G LTE smartphones in the Indian market, Gionee launches CTRL V6L and Pioneer P5L. Gionee also unveiled Gionee Pioneer P4S and Gionee Pioneer P6 smartphones, but hasn't detailed full specifications or pricing.

The Gionee CTRL V6L sports 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 with Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It runs with Android KitKat 4.4 and has dual-SIM support. It comes with an internal storage of 8GB and can be expanded using microSD card and it has 1950 mAh battery.

The Pioneer P5L sports 4.7-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display, powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with ARM Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It runs with Android KitKat 4.4 and has dual-SIM support. Sony Xperia Z4 Specs Leaked

With the release of Xperia Z3 flagship phone from Sony just back in September, Sony is busy preparing for its next flagship phone Xperia Z4 for 2015. Earlier in February Sony had released Xperia Z2 too.
