Gionee has launched S6 Pro smartphone in India. It is available in Gold and Rose Gold colors and is priced at Rs. 23,999 (MOP). The company has also unveiled its first VR headset in the country, priced at Rs. 2,499.

Gionee S8 With '3D Touch' Display, 4GB RAM Launched at MWC 2016

Gionee has launched it flagship S8 smartphone at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The company at the event also revealed its brand new logo and tagline that says, "Make Smiles." It is available in Rose Gold, Grey and Gold colors and is priced at EUR 449 (approximately Rs. 34,000). It will be available from the end of March, 2016.

The smartphone features 3D Touch (yes, the same name Apple uses) pressure sensitive display, one of the biggest highlights of the smartphone, and is expected to work same as the new iPhone models. The company says that the smartphone can sense 3 levels of force including touch to select an app, tap to preview the content of an app, and press to run the app.

Gionee as expected has launched Marathon M5, their new smartphone with 6020mAh battery in India. It is available Black, White and Gold colors and is priced at Rs. 17,999. The smartphone will go on sale exclusively via Flipkart from Tuesday.

The smartphone comes with two 3010mAh batteries, taking the total to 6020mAh. The company says the batteries should last up to 4 days. It also features an extreme mode that can boost standby time at 5 percent battery life to 62 hours. As expected, the smartphone supports reverse charging, which allows users to utilise the Marathon M5 as a power bank to charge other devices. It also features a fast charging system, but no details have yet been provided about how long it will take to completely charge the dual battery setup.

The Gionee Marathon M5's claim to fame is its long battery life. It comes with two 3010mAh batteries, taking the total to 6020mAh. The company says the batteries should last up to 4 days. The smartphone will go on sale in China starting from July 15th. It will launch in India in August 2015. Gionee has a new device to its pioneer series dubbed Gionee Pioneer P4S. It is priced at Rs. 7,799. It will be available in India via online and offline retailers. It comes along with a window flip cover.

Gionee W900 with Two 1080p Displays 

At the moment, there’s no word on when and for how much the Gionee W900 will be released. In any case, it will probably be available only in China, where it's been already certified by authorities.
