LG G Pad II 10.1 Launched with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, 4G LTE

LG has launched the latest tablet in the G pad series dubbed LG G Pad II 10.1. The new LG G Pad II 10.1 will be showcased at the upcoming IFA event in Berlin next month. The tablet will be available in Wi-Fi only and LTE models and will go on sale in markets in North America, Europe and Asia. The company is likely to reveal pricing and exact availability of the tablet locally at the time of launch. 

The new G Pad II 10.1 tablet also comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Office suite of apps and will also feature an additional 100GB of free OneDrive storage for two years.

LG G Pad II 10.1 features a 10.1-inch (1920 x 1200) WUXGA display powered by 2.26GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor and 2GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 16GB and can be expanded via microSD. It sports a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and has 7400 mAh battery.

Announcing the launch, Chris Yie, vice president and head of marketing communications for LG Mobile Communications Company said, "The LG G Pad II 10.1 was developed in response to consumers' feedback and optimised for multimedia consumption. Customers asked for a large display, bigger battery and faster performance all without raising the price. The G Pad II delivers on all counts."
