Apple releases OS X 10.11 El Capitan to App Store for Free

Apple has released OS X 10.11 El Capitan to the public, it is available for free to Mac users around the world. It can be downloaded using the Software Update function in the Mac App Store, and it will run on all Macs capable of running OS X 10.6.8 or later. 

It comes with new Split View option for side-by-side multitasking, improved Spotlight and Mission Control functionality, an updated Notes app, updated Safari with Pinned Sites, a universal mute button and more.

Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan Announced by Apple, WWDC 2015

Apple announced the latest version of OS X named El Capitan, an update that focuses on performance with only a handful of new features. With regards to new features, there are new gestures that include swiping to delete an email, improved Spotlight search with movable and resizable windows and you can also pin popular sites in Safari.  

It also offers SplitView (similar to AeroSnap in Windows 8) and other window-arranging features to help you organise OS X, and a Spaces Bar to make it easier to create and manage multiple desktops. 

As well as this, the Metal graphics technology announced with iOS 8 is making its way to OS X. It’ll bring improved detail and game performance as well as improved performance in processor hungry apps. Adobe has said it’s committed to adapting Metal for its Creative Cloud apps, for example. Apple added that it’s possible to achieve 50 percent faster rendering, improving general performance for Mac users.

Apple has released OS X Yosemite v10.10.3 update that comes with Photos app replacing iPhoto as the default consumer photo-management solution on Macs.The update also brings the new emoji characters to OS X, prevents Safari from saving website favicon URLs used in Private Browsing, and improves Wi-Fi performance and connectivity in various usage scenarios, amongst various other fixes and enhancements. The update is available via the App Store.

How to run Android Apps in Google Chrome for PC's or Mac using ARC Welder

ARC Welder is a new Chrome extension that’s designed to be a developer tool. You can use it to install and run dozens upon dozens of Android apps within your browser. Previously, ARC launched as a limited beta but has now been made available to the public allowing you to easily run any Android apps on both Windows (PC) or Linux (This also includes Mac OSX based systems). Users can install any apps by getting the app .apk file (from websites like AppAPK) and install them. This includes both normal apps, games etc. ARC is based on Android 4.4, meaning a lot of standalone apps are immediately compatible. 

So now lets see how to install ARC Welder in Google Chrome and how to add apps to ARC Welder.

1. Install the ARC Welder extension for your Chrome browser from here.
2. Once the installation is done,  a screen will pop out and it will ask for the .apk file ( You can obtain a .apk app file a variety of ways, but the most common would probably be through a third-party APK file host such as APKMirror.com or a service like apk-dl.com )
3. Once APK loaded, the extension will present a configuration screen that will let you choose orientation, phone/tablet mode, access level.
