Lenovo has started sending media invites for an event on Tuesday where the company will launch the Moto M smartphone in India. Earlier the company had teased the launch of the Moto M smartphone in the country. The smartphone was launched in China earlier this month. It was launched at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 19,700).

Moto M features 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display powered by 2.2 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor with Mali T860MP2 GPU and 4GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 32GB and can be expanded via miroSD up to 128GB. It sports a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF and a 8MP front-facing camera. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and has 3050 mAh battery with Turbo charging.

Asus ZenFone 3 Series India Launch Set for August 17

Asus began sending media invites for the launch of ZenFone 3 Series smartphone at Z3nvolution event in India on August 17th. The event starts at 4PM on August 17th, Wednesday. Recently, Asus has announced three smartphones in the series - the ZenFone 3, the ZenFone 3 Deluxe, and the ZenFone 3 Ultra in Taipei.

Asus ZenFone 3 features 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super IPS+ display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU and 3GB of RAM with 32GB storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. Motorola Moto X Force India Launch Set for February 1

Motorola had teased the launch of Moto X Force and today the company has sent invites for the launch event of the Moto X Force, scheduled to take place on February 1 in Gurgaon.

Moto X Force is the international version of Droid Turbo 2. It is available in Black Ballistic Nylon color and has optional Moto Maker customization depending on the market. The main highlight of this smartphone is it comes with Moto ShatterShield, the world’s first shatterproof display. Motorola says that the display is guaranteed not to crack or shatter for up to 4 years. It comes with 3760mAh battery, which in addition to a claimed battery life of 2-days under "mixed use", also supports Quick Charging.

Huawei Honor 5X to Launch in India on January 28

Huawei is all set to launch Huawei Honor 5X smartphone in India. The smartphone was launched back in October in China. Now the company has sent invites for the launch on January 28th.

The main highlight of this smartphone is it features a fingerprint sensor with the company's latest 'Fingerprint 2.0' tech, which is said to unlock the handset in as little as 0.5 seconds. The sensor is placed on the rear panel below the camera. The 3000mAh battery is said to deliver up to 1.46 days of regular usage time and up to 1.01 days of heavy usage time. It supports Quick Charge 3.0, which can charge up to 50 percent battery in 30 minutes.

Microsoft Lumia 950, 950 XL Launching in India on Nov 30

Waiting for the new Microsoft Lumia 950 or Microsoft Lumia 950 XL? The company has an event scheduled for November 30, in which it is expected to launch the flagship handsets. It has also scheduled exclusive event for Windows 10 Insiders in Mumbai and New Delhi on the same day that would let them experience the new Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL with Windows 10 first-hand. Microsoft also said that registered event attendees those who buy the Lumia 950 or 950 XL at the event will get a free Microsoft Display Dock in the sales package as a limited time offer or till stocks last. Gionee Marathon M5 with 6020mAh Battery Launching in India on November 24

Gionee is finally launching Marathon M5 in India on November 24th at an event in Bangalore. The smartphone was launched back in June in Beijing, China. The Gionee Marathon M5's claim to fame is its long battery life. It comes with two 3010mAh batteries, taking the total to 6020mAh. The company says the batteries should last up to 4 days. It also features an extreme mode that can boost standby time at 5 percent battery life to 62 hours. As expected, the smartphone supports reverse charging, which allows users to utilise the Marathon M5 as a power bank to charge other devices. It also features a fast charging system, but no details have yet been provided about how long it will take to completely charge the dual battery setup.

Motorola Teases the Launch of Moto X Play in India on Twitter

Motorola has started teasing the launch of new Moto X Play smartphone on its official Twitter India account. On September 6th the company had tweeted “No more getting dumped by your phone. Your perfect partner is coming with 30 hours of battery backup. #XOMotoX” and today the company has again tweeted "Tired of those hazy memories? Get hitched with a perfect partner with a 21MP rear camera. #XOMotoX". 

The main feature of this device is it comes with a 3630 mAh battery that promises a back up of 48 hours and it comes with a Motorola TurboPower 25 Charger that will offer quick charge within minutes. It also has water repellent coating, similar to other Motorola smartphones. It has Moto Voice, Moto Display, Moto Assist and Moto Actions.

Lenovo A7000 Expected to Launch in India on April 7th

Lenovo has started to send out the invites for its upcoming event in India scheduled on April 7th. The invite doesn’t reveal much expect the date of the event and DOLBY ATMOS logo. However, it is expected that the company will announce the successor to Lenovo A6000 in the form of Lenovo A7000. Lenovo A7000 was recently unveiled during MWC 2015 event earlier this month.

Xiaomi to Launch New Devices on March 31st

Xiaomi celebrating it's 5th year by launching new products on March 31 in China, says the company’s CEO Lei Jun. 

"With all your support and company over the years, Xiaomi is turning 5 next month. We have prepared big surprises for Mi fans who have loved Xiaomi all the way," notes the blog.

Xiaomi's new smartphones has been spotted in the benchmarking website. The new smartphone is dubbed Xiaomi Ferrari. According to the benchmark the smartphone features a 4.9-inch 1080p full-HD display powered by 1.6 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor and 2 GB RAM. 16GB storage sporting a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It will run Android 5.0 Lollipop right out of the box. Considering that the popular Xiaomi Redmi 1S got a successor in the form of the Redmi 2, it is likely that the Xiaomi Ferrari is the successor of the Redmi Note.

Micromax YU Smartphone launch live stream

Micromax and Cyanogen are launching  the YU smartphone at 12:00 P.M in New Delhi. The tagline says " ZEUS OF PHONES IS ABOUT TO ARRIVE".
