Lava has launched the Lava X3 smartphone in India. It is available in White with Silver and White with Gold colors and is priced at Rs. 6,499. The smartphone will be available via online shopping partner Flipkart and Amazon.

Lava X3 features 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display 1.3 GHz Quad-Core MediaTek processor and 2GB DDR3 RAM. It has an internal storage of 8GB and can be expanded via microSD. It sports a 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and has 2500 mAh battery.

WhatsApp Group Chat Limit Increased From 100 to 256

WhatsApp has increased the limit of group from 100 to 256. Yes now you can add up to 256 members in a group. Currently, the update is available only for Android and iOS users. This feature can be seen on version 2.12.13 for iOS users and v2.12.367 and above for Android users. Android users who do not see the update yet can download the latest version (v2.12.437) from the application from the company's website.

It has been reported that WhatsApp could soon introduce a feature to allow its users to integrate their Facebook account with the instant messaging and voice calling app. The version 2.12.413 of WhatsApp for Android reveals company's intention to allow users to link the messaging service with their respective Facebook account.

OnePlus X Goes Invite Free in India

OnePlus has announced OnePlus X smartphone invite free in India starting midnight, February 5, 2016. Users will be able to purchase any of the OnePlus X variant - Onyx Black, Champagne Gold, and limited edition Ceramic from Amazon India.

Samsung Galaxy A7(2016), Galaxy A5(2016) Launched in India

Samsung has launched Galaxy A7(2016) and the Galaxy A5(2016) smartphones in India. It is available in Gold, Black and White colors. Galaxy A7(2016) is priced at Rs. 33,400 and Galaxy A5(2016) at Rs. 29,400. Both the smartphones will be available via online shopping partner Snapdeal. Samsung also announced a bundled Airtel data plan, with up to 30GB of data free for six months.

Canon Announces Flagship EOS-1D X Mark II DSLR

Canon EOS-1D X Mark II

Canon has launched the EOS-1D X Mark II, company's new flagship DSLR. It features a new 20.2MP CMOS sensor with Dual Pixel AF, and uses a pair of Dual DIGIC 6+ processors to capture 4K video and shoot continuously at up to 16 fps. The camera has a native ISO of 100-51200, expandable to 409600.

The Mark II also boasts of a new 61-point Dual Pixel CMOS AF system with 41 cross type sensors, with an improved AI Servo III+ predictive algorithm for better accuracy. The camera has built-in GPS but for Wi-Fi you will need to get the WFT-E8 optional accessory that supports 802.11ac for file transfers to computers or smartphones. It is compatible with both CF and CFast memory cards. All of this packed in a weather sealed magnesium alloy body.

The EOS-1D X Mark II will be available in April for $5999 (body only), or bundled with a 64GB CFast card and reader for $6299.

Motorola Moto X Force Launched With 21MP Camera, 3760mAh Battery, 'Shatterproof' Display at Rs. 49,999

Motorola as promised has launched Moto X Force smartphone in India. It is available in Black and Grey with Ballistic Nylon finish and White colors, and is priced at Rs. 49,999 for 32GB variant and Rs. 53,999 for the 64GB variant. The smartphone will be available via online shopping partner Flipkart, Amazon, Spice Hotspot and Croma starting from February 8th.

Moto X Force is the international version of Droid Turbo 2. It is available in Black Ballistic Nylon color and has optional Moto Maker customization depending on the market.
