Yu has launched Yunicorn smartphone in India. It is available in rush silver, graphite and limited edition rush gold color and is priced at Rs. 12,999 for the first month. After that it will be priced at Rs. 13,499. The smartphone will be available via online shopping partner Flipkart through flash sale starting from June 7th. Registrations for the sale has already started.

YU Yutopia Launched with Snapdragon 810, 4GB RAM at Rs. 24,999

YU has launched Yutopia, the company's new flagship smartphone in India. It is available  in Grey color and is priced at Rs. 24,999. The smartphone is available for order from Amazon.in exclusively starting from today at 2PM and it will be shipped from December 26th.

The other highlight of the handset is the onboard fingerprint sensor, which can also be used to take selfies. The Yu Yutopia comes with Little Bird earphones bundled in the box, made by House of Marley. The company is also touting DTS audio experience, with three microphones enabling active noise cancellation. Yu has also announced an Assured Upgrade Programme, meant to give Yutopia buyers the option of an assured upgrade to Yutopia 2. The company said during an 'upgrade window' around the Yutopia 2's launch, Yutopia owners can avail of a 40 percent cashback when buying the new smartphone and exchanging the old one.

YU Launches JYUICE Power Banks with 5000mAh and 10000mAh Capacities

YU has launched two portable chargers called JYUICE. It is available in 5000mAh and 10000mAh capacities. It comes in anodized aluminium alloy body which prevents the power banks from corrosion or rusting and it has round edges for a better grip.

Unlike other power banks, it comes with multi colored LED indicator. The green LED says there is more than 70% charge left, Yellow says there is more than 30% and less than 70% charge and the Red one says there is less than 30% charge left. Just with a tap you can know the status of the battery. The 5000mAh power bank comes with one 5V-2.1A output, while the 10000mAh power bank comes with two USB ports, one with 5V-1A output and other offering 5V-2.1A output. Both these have 5V-1A input.

Micromax's Yu Televentures on Tuesday launched the Yu Yunique smartphone in India. It is available in Black color and is priced at Rs. 4,999. Users can also buy it bundled with two extra different-coloured back covers at Rs. 5,499. The smartphone will go on sale starting from September 15th through flash sale.

YU Launches YuPix Portable Mobile Photo Printer with Wi-Fi and NFC at Rs. 6,999

YU has launched YuPix, a portable mobile printer. The portable mobile printer will be available to purchase from Amazon India starting Monday September 7th, 2015 at Rs. 6,999.

The portable mobile printer can print an image under 60 seconds and has an image transfer speed 10 times faster due to the inbuilt Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity. It is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. It uses cartridge which has Ink Ribbon & Photo Paper Integrated into it, making it water and fingerprint proof. Micromax's Yu Televentures brand has slashed the price of the Yureka Plus. Yu Yureka Plus smartphone which was launched last month with a price tag of Rs. 9,999 is now available in Rs. 8,999. 

The company announced this in their social pages like Facebook and Twitter. Those who have already purchased the smartphone will get a gift card worth Rs. 1,000 from Amazon.in. Amazon India, is taking registrations for the next flash sale on Thursday, and registrations close at midnight Tuesday.

Micromax Yu has launched its second smartphone in India dubbed Micromax Yu Yuphoria. The smartphone has been priced at Rs. 6,999 and is available  in Champagne Gold with White and Buffed Steel with Black colors. It will be exclusively available via Amazon India. The first flash sale is scheduled for May 28 for which registrations begin starting 5pm IST on Tuesday.

Micromax's Yu Yureka to Be Available Without Registration on May 6 and May 7

Yu Yureka smartphone will available to buy without any registrations in India on Wednesday and Thursday. 

As per company's announcement on its Facebook and Twitter handles, and said, "No registrations, no time limits. Yureka open sale on 6th and 7th May. Are you ready to Play God?" The Amazon India page however notes the sale begins at 10am on Wednesday.

Micromax has started rolling Android 5.0 Lollipop for Yu Yureka smartphones. 

Yu Yuphoria is also on its way to hit the market on May 12. The YU Yuphoria is also expected to launch exclusively through Amazon.in.

Micromax's Yu Yuphoria Smartphone Launching on May 12

The successor of Yu Yureka dubbed Yu Yuphoria will be launching on May 12. The company took to Twitter to confirm the India launch date for the Yu Yuphoria smartphone. The tweet said, "The moment of YUphoria is coming. Have you blocked your calendar?"

The company had already confirmed the launch the smartphone in Q2. It had carried out a naming campaign called "#YUNameIt" via its social platform and claimed that it received over 100,000 entries.

The smartphone will runs on Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). So far no hints on the specification except the operating system. Another 10 days to go and we will be knowing full specification of Yu Yuphoria.

Yu Yureka which is still going on flash sale through Amazon is one of the famous smartphone and recently it got Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA update. Micromax's Yu Confirms Lollipop for 'Project Caesar'

Micromax subsidiary Yu Televentures has started teasing its upcoming smartphone. The company used social platform like Facebook and Twitter for their teaser. "You’ve got a KitKat. Why don’t you wait for a Lollipop. Stay tuned for project caeser". The teaser shows lollipop loaded till 60%, so the smartphone could be unveiled in a few weeks.

Another teaser in Facebook says, "KitKat in the age of lollipop? Give ME a break". The letter 'M' in the word 'Me' in the image resembles Xiaomi's Mi logo and clearly takes a dig at the company. The Facebook tagline says. "Project Caesar: Stay tuned, the fYUture is coming!".

Seeing the teaser, we can't say about the specs of the upcoming smartphone. YU has promised to offer Android Lollipop update for YU YUREKA in the form of Cyanogen OS 12, which will roll out in a few weeks, since the beta testing for the update has already started.

Micromax Yu Yureka will be soon getting Android lollipop. The company has posted a Lollipop teaser on its Facebook and Twitter page. The posts include a connect-the-dots image of a lollipop, and with the last dot numbered 26, the firm is hinting at March 26 as the release date for the Android 5.0 update for the Yureka smartphone. As of now, the company has not revealed a change log for the update though we can expect it to be released once the update is out.

Its just a teaser posted by the company, we still don't know whether it's going to be Android lollipop. It just says "Coming soon to a Yureka near you!"

On 13th January, 10,000 pieces of Miromax Yu Yureka was sold out in 3 seconds. According to the company there were huge demands for Yu Yureka. Over 3 lakh people had registered for this phone, but sadly only 10,000 pieces were available in the first sale.

Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma told PTI, "We saw unprecedented response with over three lakh registrations. Registrations were to be open till December 25. However, owing to the mega response they had to be closed a day earlier."

Some people even after adding the device to cart could not reach the payment section as the website crashed. For some customer's the price were shown Rs. 12,499 instead of Rs. 8,999. Some sources say that only 3,000 pieces were available for sale on 13th January out of which only 2657 pieces were claimed.

10,000 Micromax Yu Yureka units to go on sale on Jan 13th

Micromax is ready with 10,000 units of Yureka smartphones for sale tomorrow 13th Jaunury, at 2PM on Amazon.in. The registration for Yureka had started way back in December and due to overwhelming response from the customers, the registration was closed a day before from the actual date. The company has received over 3 lakh registrations for the smartphone.

The phone will be sold in first-come-first-serve basis and will be available only till the stocks last, said the online retailer. Tomorrow the sale starts at 2PM and users can add the smartphone to their cart, Users need to checkout without 15 minutes else the cart will be empty. If at all you are not able to add the smartphone to cart, you will be added to waiting list. By chance if some other customers fails to checkout within 15 minutes then it will be added to your cart. Micromax launches Yu brand powered by CyanogenMod

Micromax has launched a new smartphone under brand name "Yu". A subsidiary of Micromax, Yu Televentures, has partnered Cyanogen to offer customised user experience to end users. Cyanogen OS, built on Android, is known for rich software advancements that optimise performance, customization on mobile devices.

"This will be a game changer not just in India but globally too. Yu has been envisioned for building an ecosystem of connected devices and offer customised experience to users. It has been learnt that Micromax's new subsidiary Yu Televentures in collaboration with popular Android mobile software developers, CyanogenMod, will incorporate custom Android ROM in Yu series smartphones. It looks like Micromax will be following the same strategy as followed by Xiaomi, they are going to tie-up with online stores directly that will help lower the cost and most likely these handsets will not be available offline (i.e. in retail stores).
