Xiaomi Mi 5, Redmi Note 3 to Go on Open Sale From June 1

Xiaomi has announced an open sale for both the Mi 5 and the Redmi Note 3. On Wednesday, it will make the smartphones for purchase without registrations starting 10am IST - till stocks last. The Mi 5 will be available via Mi.com, while the Redmi Note 3 will be available via Mi.com, Amazon India, Flipkart, and Snapdeal.

Xiaomi Mi 5 features 5.15-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD display with curved glass powered by Snapdragon 820 64-bit Quad-Core processor with Adreno 530 GPU and 3GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 32GB. It sports a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 4MP front facing camera with 2um pixel size. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 7 on top and has 3000 mAh built-in battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 features 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display powered by Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 (4x 1.2GHz ARM A53 + 2 x 1.8 GHz ARM A72) 64-bit processor with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes in two variants with 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage. It is expandable via microSD. It sports a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash and a 5MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with MIUI 7 on top and has 4050 mAh battery with fast charging.

OnePlus X Ceramic Edition to Go on Sale in India Without Invites on Friday

Still waiting for OnePlux X smartphone? You can buy the OnePlus X Ceramic variant tomorrow without invites. The company announced on Thursday that it will be holding invite-free sales of the limited edition OnePlus X Ceramic variant at French Connection retail stores between 7pm to 9pm in New Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. To entice users, the company is selling the OnePlus X Ceramic variant at a 10 percent discount. It added that it will provide an additional Rs. 500 voucher and a special gift bag to the first 50 buyers.

The unique craftsmanship required to produce the Ceramic edition requires time and precision," said Karan Sarin, Head of Marketing - India, OnePlus. OnePlus X to Be Available Without Invites in India on Thursday

Soon after OnePlus 2 going invite free in India, OnePlus has announced the first open sale for the OnePlus X smartphone in India on December 10. The handset will be available for purchase from Amazon India, and sale starts midnight Wednesday.

So, if you are waiting for an invite to buy OnePlus X smartphone, this is the right time to buy one. You can purchase only one unit for an Amazon account, said the company.

Xiaomi India Announces DiwaliWithMi Sales from 3-5 Nov

Flipkart Big Billion Day Sale from October 13-17, App Only this Time

Online retailer Flipkart has announced the return of its Big Billion Sale, with discounts and offers on more than 70 products, but only on app. The five day sale will go on starting October 13 to October 17. 

Flipkart says that the sale will have discounts across categories like mobiles, laptops, toys, large appliances, jewelry, watches, and furniture among others. Flipkart-owned Myntra too will be participating in the sale and will be ‘presenting a curated selection from iconic fashion brands’.
