Xiaomi has announced an open sale for both the Mi 5 and the Redmi Note 3. On Wednesday, it will make the smartphones for purchase without registrations starting 10am IST - till stocks last. The Mi 5 will be available via Mi.com, while the Redmi Note 3 will be available via Mi.com, Amazon India, Flipkart, and Snapdeal.
Xiaomi Mi 5 features 5.15-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD display with curved glass powered by Snapdragon 820 64-bit Quad-Core processor with Adreno 530 GPU and 3GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 32GB. It sports a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 4MP front facing camera with 2um pixel size. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 7 on top and has 3000 mAh built-in battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 features 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display powered by Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 (4x 1.2GHz ARM A53 + 2 x 1.8 GHz ARM A72) 64-bit processor with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes in two variants with 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage. It is expandable via microSD. It sports a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash and a 5MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with MIUI 7 on top and has 4050 mAh battery with fast charging.
