HP announces EliteBook Folio 1020 and 1020 SE - the thinnest and lightest business laptops

HP launches HP EliteBook Folio 1020 and HP EliteBook Folio 1020 SE, the industry’s thinnest and lightest business-class notebooks. HP Elitebook Folio 1020 will be available in February, and HP EliteBook Folio 1020 Special Edition will be available in April.

Both of these EliteBook Folio 1020 notebooks feature only 15. 7mm thin body, cutting-edge design offering to you elite business-class performance, the Folio 1020 special edition models (SE) is made of magnesium-lithium alloy and reusable carbon fiber to reduce its weight bringing total down to 1kg (2.2 lbs.), this according to HP makes them the world's thinnest and lightest business notebooks. The weight of standard Folio 1020 is not published by the company but it is expected to weight a little bit more than one kilogram.

Both Elitebook Folio 1020 models have a 12.5-inch of diagonal Quad HD display with optional touchscreen, 1080 pixels resolution, a 720 pixels web camera. Both Elitebook Folio 1020 notebooks comes with the Intel Core M processors with 8GB of RAM, and SSD hard drive storage from 128GB to 256GB. This fanless laptop claims to offer 9 hours of battery life.

It also includes an “always on” capability so the laptop can be tracked even when it’s shut off, as with smartphones and tablets. If a laptop is lost or stolen, it can be tracked down to a specific location and data can be remotely wiped by a system administrator.

50,000 units of Redmi Note, Out of stock in 6 seconds

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer announced that 50,000 units of Xiaomi Redmi Note would go on sale on Flipkart on 2 December and registrations began last monday, 24 November, when it was launched in India. Now the company has announced that all the units have gone off the shelves in just 6 seconds via Flipkart, which is the exclusive retail partner of the company. Hugo Barra, Xiaomi VP, made the announcement via his Twitter handle and also the official Twitter handle of the company in India.

The firm has also announced that the next flash sale for the Redmi Note will be on December 9, and that registration will be open from Tuesday 6pm IST to Monday, December 8, midnight.

OnePlus One 64GB with a 5.5-inch display launched at Rs 21,999 in India

OnePlus One is finally here in India. Few weeks back Amazon had teased about OnePlus One. OnePlus One has been launched in India, priced at Rs. 21,999 for the 64GB version exclusively in Amazon.in.

Intex Aqua Power with Octa Core and 4000 mAh Battery launched at 8,444 INR

Intex launched the Aqua Power smartphone with octa-core processor and 400mAh battery in India at Rs. 8,444.

Intex Aqua Power features a 5-inch (480x854 pixels) FWVGA IPS display and powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek (MTK6592M) processor and 1GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 8GB and can be expanded via microSD card up to 32GB. It sports 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and will be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop. The phone comes with 4000mAh battery.

Samsung to Launch Budget 'Z1' Tizen Phone in India

Now Samsung plans to launch Tizen phone in India. South Korea’s Maeil Business Newspaper said on Monday. South Korea’s Samsung Electronics Co Ltd plans to launch a new sub-$100 (roughly Rs. 6,200) smartphone running on its own Tizen operating system in India later this month. 

The phone will feature a 4-inch screen 480×800 resolution display powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 512MB RAM. The phone will sport a 3.2-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, and a VGA front-facing camera. It will run on Tizen 2.3 operating system along with connectivity options like dual-SIM support, 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, and FM Radio.

As per Reuters, Samsung might hold a press event on December 10 for the launch. As we are very close to that, so we might hear the announcement very soon. Samsung is yet to sent the media invites for the event.

HTC Desire 620 Dual SIM, Desire 620G Dual SIM Launched

HTC finally launched Desire 620 after getting leaked. HTC has launched Desire 620 and Desire 620G in Taiwan. Both Desire 620 and Desire 620G has similar specifications except the processor and network connectivity. Both the phones features a  5-inch HD IPS display. It sports a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1080p video recording, HTC EYE experience and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a BSI sensor. It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat with HTC Sense 6 UI on top.

The main difference is the processor. HTC Desire 620 dual SIM is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor but HTC Desire 620G dual SIM is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor. The other difference is the connectivity options, HTC Desire 620 dual SIM supports 4G LTE and HTC Desire 620G dual SIM supports 3G connectivity. Both the phone runs on 1GB of RAM and has an internal storage of 8GB which can be expanded via microSD card. It has a 2100mAh battery.
