Intex Aqua Fish With Sailfish 2.0 OS Launched in India

Intex has launched Aqua Fish smartphone with Jolla's Sailfish 2.0 OS. it is available in Orange color and is priced at Rs. 5,499. The smartphone is exclusively available via online shopping partner ebay. It will be available on Amazon, Flipkart, and Snapdeal in the coming weeks.

Intex Aqua Fish features 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 (MSM8909) processor with Adreno 304 GPU and 2GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 16GB and can be expanded via microSD up to 32GB. It sports a 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 2MP front facing camera. It runs on Sailfish OS 2.0 and has 2500 mAh battery.

Jolla launches Sailfish OS Tablet

Jolla launches Sailfish OS tablet, the first tablet device that runs the Sailfish OS 2.0. The Finnish firm launched its campaign on Indiegogo with a goal of raising $380,000. The first 1,000 contributors will receive the tablet at $189, while the second 1,000 will get it at $199. The delivery of the Jolla Tablet is listed as May 2015 and the expected price of the tablet is $249. The tablet will be available in European Union, Norway, Switzerland, United States, India, China, Hong Kong, and Russia.

“We believe that there is demand for this, and even though there are more than 400 Android tablets in the world there are no open-source Sailfish tablets. So this is something different from everything else,” said Taru Aalto, sales director at Jolla.

Jolla Sailfish OS Tablet 

It has a 7.85-inch IPS display (2048x1536p) with 330ppi (Pixel per Inch). It is powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core 64-bit Intel processor and 2GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 32GB and can be expanded via microSD card slot. It sports 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera. It supports 802.11 a/b/g/n dual-band , Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS and has 4300mAh battery. The tablet measures 203x137x8.3mm and weighs 384gram.
