Oppo F5 With 20MP Selfie Camera, 6GB RAM Launched in India

OPPO has launched F5, the company’s latest selfie-focused smartphone in India. Oppo F5 price in India starts at Rs. 19,990, for the 4GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage variant, which will be available in a Gold and Black edition. The 6GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage variant have been announced for the country with a price tag of Rs. 24,990, and a Red and Black edition. The Oppo F5 will go on sale from November 9 on Flipkart, with physical retail availability beginning shortly after. The 6GB RAM variant will go on sale from December 2, the company revealed.

As for the Oppo F5 launch offers, Flipkart is offering exchange discount of up to Rs. 18,500 with the phone. The e-commerce brand is also offering 15 percent extra discount on fashion and lifestyle products on its platform if the customer buys the phone between November 2 and November 8. They will get 5 percent cashback on purchases made via debit and credit cards, and an additional 5 percent off on Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card purchases.

Oppo F5 features 6-inch (2160 × 1080 pixels) 18:9 FHD+ full-screen 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 powered by 2.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P23 16nm processor with 800MHz ARM Mali G71 MP2 GPU. Oppo has launched Oppo A37 smartphone. it is available in Gold, Rose Gold and Grey colors and is priced at $199 (Rs. 13400 approx.), which will vary depending on the market. It is already available in Singapore priced at SG$ 289 (US$ 215 / Rs. 14,475 approx.) and will launch in Indonesia on June 25. It will be available in other select markets soon said the company.

Oppo R7s Launched With Octa-Core SoC, 4GB RAM, Metal Body

Oppo has launched the new R7s smartphone at an event in Dubai. It is available in Golden and Silver colors and will gradually roll out in Singapore, Australia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand as well as MENA region, with the United Arab Emirates as a hub. It will be available for purchase in Europe and USA through the Oppo Style website after that in December, said the company. No word on the pricing yet.

The company lists a 3070mAh non-removable battery backing the device and also adds that the handset features VOOC flash charging technology. The company claims that 5 minutes of charge can offer up to 2 hours of talk time.

CyanogenMod OS Extended its Support to Devices like Huawei, HTC, LG, Motorola, Samsung, Oppo and Xiaomi

Now Cyanogen community has extended its support to devices like Huawei, HTC, LG, Motorola, Samsung, Oppo and Xiaomi. 

According to the official blog post, the supported smartphones include Huawei's Honor 4, Honor 4x, Ascend Mate 2, and Snapto; Motorola's Moto E (Gen 2), Moto G (3rd Gen); Xiaomi's Mi 3w and Mi 4; Oppo's R7, R7 Plus, and R5; Samsung's Galaxy S5 mini Duos and Galaxy S5 (Japan and China variants); HTC's One M8 Dual SIM, and LG's G3 (Korean variant).

The CyanogenMod community offers alternative ROMs (or system software) for existing smartphones and it has built a sizeable user base over the years. Cyanogen team announced that it now supports 200+ devices, which receive builds of CM (CM 11, 12.0, and 12.1) OS.

Oppo Joy Plus Launched with dual-core processor in India at Rs. 6,990

Oppo has launched it's latest budget smartphone Oppo Joy Plus in India. It is available in Blue and White colors and is priced at Rs. 6,990. 

Oppo Joy Plus features a 4-inch (800 ×480 pixels) WVGA sensitive touch screen powered by 1.3 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor and 1GB RAM. It hs an internal storage of 4GB and can be expanded via microSD up to 32GB. It sports a 3MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 4.4 with ColorOS 2.0 on top and has 1700 mAh battery.

Oppo India launched the Gilded Limited Edition Oppo R5 in India. There are only 10,000 pieces of Oppo R5 and it will be available only through pre-booking. The pre-booking starts from 20th February. The glided limited edition comes with a gold frame.

Oppo launched Oppo mirror 3 in India at Rs, 16,990. Oppo mirror 3 was launched in Vietnam last month and in China it was launched with the name Oppo 3000 which additionally included 4G and NFC features. It is available in Grey and White colors.

Oppo announced Oppo R1C smartphone with 64-Bit SoC and 4G connectivity in China. Oppo R1C comes in white with gold frame and blue with silver frame. It is priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 25,000). There is no detail about its global availability as yet.

Oppo launched its slimmest smartphone Oppo R5 at Rs 29,990. Oppo R5 measures 4.85mm in thickness, will be available for pre-booking starting January 1, 2015 onwards.
