Meizu MX6 with 10-Core Helio X20 SoC, 4GB RAM Launched

Meizu has launched MX6 smartphone at an event in China. It is available in Gray, Silver, Gold and Pink colors and is priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 20,000). The smartphone will be available for order in China starting today and goes on sale from July 30th. The company has also unveiled the Loop Jacket, which is a protective case for the smartphone priced at CNY 79 (approximately Rs. 800). No word on global roll out yet.

Meizu MX6 features 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) LCD display powered by 2.3GHz GHz MediaTek Helio X20 Deca-Core 64-bit processor with ARM Mali-T880 GPU and 4GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 32GB. It sports a 12 MP rear camera with dual tone LED Flash and a 5MP front facing camera. It runs on Flyme OS 5.2 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has 3060 mAh battery with fast charging.

Meizu Pro 5 Ubuntu Edition Launched Ahead of MWC 2016

Just ahead of MWC 2016, Meizu and Canonical has partnered to introduce Meizu PRO 5 Ubuntu Edition. Canonical says the smartphone price and other availability details will be revealed at the upcoming MWC 2016. It will be up for pre-orders during the trade show.

Meizu PRO 5 Ubuntu Edition features 5.7-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 2.5D glass, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 powered by Octa-Core ( Quad 2.1GHz + Quad 1.5GHz) Samsung Exynos 7420 processor with Mali T760 GPU and 3GB LPDDR4 RAM. Meizu M2 Launched With 2GB RAM, 4G LTE in India at Rs. 6,999

Meizu has launched the successor of Meizu M1 in India, dubbed Meizu M2. It is available in White, Grey, Blue and Pink colors and is priced at Rs. 6,999. Meizu M2 is available via online shopping partner Snapdeal. The first sale registrations are open and closes at 4pm on 11th October. It will be available from October 12th.

Meizu M2 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with 1000:1 contrast ratio, AGC Dragontrail glass powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 16GB and can be expanded via microSD up to 128GB. It sports a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, Gorilla Glass 3 protective lens glass and a 5MP front facing camera. Meizu Pro 5 Launched with 3GB/4GB RAM, 21MP Camera, USB Type-C Support

Meizu has launched its new flagship smartphone dubbed Meizu Pro 5 at an event in Beijing, China. It is available in Gray, Silver, Silver Black and Golden colors. The smartphone is available in two variants - 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM with 32GB storage priced at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs. 29,000) and 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM with 64GB of storage priced at CNY 3,000 (approximately Rs. 32,000). The smartphone will go up for orders starting today and will go on sale on October 12 in China.

The smartphone comes with a physical home button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner. The company claimed that the Pro 5 smartphone sports "the fastest fingerprint recognition on a Meizu device yet." The physical home button is surrounded by a metal ring made of stainless steel. The Chinese company at the launch claimed that the new button finish will ensure a better tactile feel. It has mCharge 2.0 that charges the 3050mAh battery up to 65% in just 30 minutes. Another highlight of the Meizu Pro 5 is it comes packed with USB Type-C port.

As expected, The Chinese Smartphone manufacturer Meizu has launched Meizu MX5 in India. It will be available exclusively from Snapdeal starting from today and is priced at Rs. 19,999 for the 16GB variant.  The smartphone comes with mBack touch sensitive home button.

Meizu MX5 to be Available Exclusively via Snapdeal Soon

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu has announced that the registration for its flagship smartphone Meizu MX5 will be exclusively through Snapdeal. The smartphone is likely to be launched on August 26, when Meizu is holding a brand launch event in New Delhi. There is no word on the pricing of the smartphone yet.
