Flipkart Changes Return Policy to 10 Days for Top-Selling Products

Soon after Amazon, Flipkart has revised their return policy. Now the customers will only be able to claim refunds within 10 days from the date of purchase. Earlier, customers were allowed to return products within 30 days of purchase.

As per the new policy, even the commission that sellers have to pay to Flipkart has been hiked. The revised rates for sellers would be applicable from July. The revised policy is applicable on top-selling categories on Flipkart like mobile phones, electronics and books. However, the old 30-days policy will still be applicable for footwear, eyewear, jewellery, clothing, watches, fashion accessories, and large appliances. This change can lead to an increase in prices of products by up to 9 per cent. "The impact of this change should come into effect from July," the company said in a communication to sellers.
