Xiaomi has launched Mi Max phablet in India at an event in Delhi. It is available in gold, silver and light grey colors and is priced at Rs. 14,999 for the 3GB of RAM with 32GB of storage variant and the Snapdragon 652, 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 19,999. The smartphone will be available from Mi.com in its first flash sale on July 6, with registrations opening on Thursday. It will also be available through Amazon.in, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Tata CLiQ and Paytm from July 13th.
Xiaomi Mi Max features 6.44-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 powered by Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 / Octa Core Snapdragon 652 processor with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes in two variants with 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB storage which is expandable via microSD up to 128GB. It sports a 16MP rear camera with dual tone LED Flash, PDAF and a 5MP front facing camera. It runs on MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is upgradable to MIUI 8 and has 4850 mAh battery.
