Apple iPad Pro with 9.7-inch True Tone Display, A9X Chip, 12MP Camera Official

Apple has announced the new iPad Pro, a smaller version of last year’s iPad Pro with a 9.7-inch True Tone Retina display. The new iPad Pro offers an improved "Pro" display packing in more pixels (hence higher screen-resolution), which adapts its tone and brightness in accordance with the environment you're using the tablet. Additionally, the iPad Pro well as house a four-speaker setup. Apple has also doubled the memory quantity, moving up from 2GB to 4GB.

The new iPad Pro is powered by A9X, Apple’s 3rd generation 64-bit chip and it sports 12-megapixel iSight camera with Focus Pixels, True Tone Flash, new image signal processor. On the front side, there's a 5-megapixel FaceTime camera. The camera sensors are same as the iPhone 6s from last year. The iPad Pro also supports Live Photos.

iPad Pro is available in silver, space gray, gold and a new rose gold colors. It is priced at $599 for the 32GB variant, $749 for the 128GB model, and $899 for the 256GB variant - (all are Wi-Fi variants). It starts at $729 for the 32GB Wi-Fi + Cellular model. It will be available to order beginning Thursday, March 24, from Apple.com, and in Apple’s retail stores, on March 31, in Australia, Canada, China (Wi-Fi models only), France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore, the UK, US Virgin Islands and the US and will be available in early April in India and several other countries.
