LG Stylus 2 Launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow Ahead of MWC 2016

LG has announced the Stylus 2 smartphone just ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 event which will be held in Barcelona, Spain. The smartphone will be showcased in the event. It is available in Titan, White and Brown colors and will roll out starting from Korea in March, followed by other markets in the United States, Europe and Asia. The South Korean company as of now has not revealed any pricing details but has noted it will be "exceptionally priced."

LG Stylus 2 features 5.7-inch (1280× 720 pixels) HD IPS in-cell touch display powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 1.5GB LPDDR3 RAM. It has an internal storage of 16GB and can be expanded via microSD. It sports a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 8MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has 3000 mAh battery.

Commenting on the launch, Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company said, "LG Stylus 2 provides both the big screen and premium notetaking functions of a premium large phone at a price of a mid-tier phone. This device is another example of our commitment to the mass-tier segment where there is so much opportunity for growth and creativity."
