Gionee S5.1 Pro Launched with Octa-Core SoC, Android 5.1 Lollipop

Gionee has added a new device to its S series dubbed Gionee S5.1 Pro in China. It is available in Gold with White color and will go on sale in China soon. No word on the pricing yet.

Gionee S5.1 Pro features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) AMOLED display with 2.5D curved Glass, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 powered by 1.5 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 16GB and can be expanded via microSD up to 128GB. It sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 8MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo UI 3.1 on top and has 2400 mAh battery.
