WhatsApp Adds New Voice Calling Button on iPhone App

Some days back reddit user Pradnesh Patil (pradnesh07) posted some screenshots of WhatsApp's new voice calling features in his Android device. This feature in Android devices is available only if you download the .apk file form Whatsapp's official website. It is not available for download from the play store.

But iOS users with its latest whatsapp installed in their device can see the presence of the voice calling button. The latest version of whatsapp available on App Store is v2.11.15. If you are using iOS devices and have not come across this feature, then you need to update your app to the latest version.

The voice calling button is not visible in group chats, but if you open an individual conversation, the button is right next to the user’s profile picture on the top right. Right of now you can only make a normal call to the user via your operator network, but should change when WhatsApp finally rolls out the functionality.

iOS users if you have already your Whatsapp to the latest version and used the call service then share your experience with us, comment below.
