Never lose your phone or keys again, this is what Motorola says after launching Motorola Keylink. Keylink is a device that allows users to keep track of their phone as well as their keys. Users can attach keylink to their keychain. Keylink can be paired with your smartphone and can find it within a radius of 100 feet.
The device is available in the US at $24.99. The device is available for Android and iOS devices. It can be connected via the Motorola Connect app which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
"If you own a Moto X (2nd gen.), Droid Turbo or a phone running Android 5.0, Lollipop, you can use your trusted device settings to enable the added ability to keep your phone unlocked when your keys are nearby. This way you don’t have to enter your password to use it. Just enable trusted devices by going into settings and then security".
If your phone does go missing, you simply press a button on Keylink to make it ring. It will work up to 100 feet away, Or if your keys get a similar idea, you can use the Motorola Connect App to make Keylink ring.
Motorola says, the battery can lasts for a year and you can replace it with a coin cell battery.
