HP Launches Envy X2, Surface Pro like Design

HP has launched the Envy X2 which looks like the latest Microsoft Surface Pro 3. The Envy X2 is available in two screen sizes - 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch. The laptop comes with a detachable wireless keyboard. The 15.6-inch (HP Envy x2 15t) is priced at $749.99 (approximately Rs. 45,000) and 13.3-inch (HP Envy x2 13t) is priced at $799.99 (approximately Rs. 48,000).

Both the variant features the same - Intel Core M-5Y10 or 5Y70 processors, 4 or 8 GB RAM options and Intel HD graphics. The 13.3-inch model comes with a 128GB SSD and 15.6-inch comes with a 500GB hybrid drive with 16GB of flash storage. Both the variants features a WLED-backlit IPS touchscreen display and a detachable Wireless Bluetooth backlit keyboard.

The (Tablet + Keyboard) of 15.6-inch ENVY x2 is 19.30mm inches thick and weighs 5.42 lbs (approximately 2.46 kg) and (Tablet + Keyboard) of 13-inch Enxy X2 is 20.32mm inches thick and weighs 4.05 lbs (approximately 1.83 kg). The 15-inch tablet weighs 2.81 lbs (approximately 1.27kg) and 13-inch tablet weighs 4.04 lbs (approximately 1.83kg).

HP Envy x2 has additionally included SD card slot, Beats Audio speakers, and an impressive keyboard design. HP notes that the device "runs cool and quiet with a design that eliminates the fan."
